The markings on it are RE Terni with the crown symbol. WW I saw an increase in production capacity, but this soon fell away in the 1920s, when Terni and the Brescia area became the mainstay of production ( Mostly rebuilding of WW I rifles) In the middle 30s, new designs were done by Terni, and Carbines etc, by the Brescia makers.Ħ.5mm Carcano Identification. Carbines and TS rifles were made in Brescia and the Gardone area.
